My name is Jennifer Oudom and this is my eleventh year at Baboquivari Unified School District. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Arizona. I was part of a scholarship program called Project Native. Project Native provided grants for Native American students to earn their degrees in education and helped place them in schools with a high Native American enrollment. I just recieved my Master's Degree in curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on reading from Grand Canyon University. I taught first grade for 10 years. This year I stepped out of the classroom and am the School Improvement Specialist. I live in Tucson with my two children, Montse and Jayden. I am very lucky to still have my mother, and two brothers who also live in Tucson. I have enjoyed my experience in Sells and hope to continue for many more years.
